Ansley Blair, 6 days: Nashville Newborn Photographer {Middle TN Newborn Photographer}

I was so excited to meet Ansley Blair this morning! She is so perfect and beautiful and was a pro for her very first photo shoot. She even brought along her doggy brother and sister for a few shots and everyone did awesome. I can't wait to watch her grow over the next year.

Averie Grace, 4 years old... {Unicorn Photo Shoot}

FOUR.

That sounds so old.

She is officially not a toddler anymore.

She's a big girl.

How did that happen?

Every year on this day, I read her birth story and I can still remember meeting her so vividly.

Time is passing entirely too quickly.






This is the first year she asked for a specific type of party ("A unicorn party with a horsey cake please"). This girl loves ponies, horses, and especially unicorns. Of course, I had to make this happen for her birthday shoot.  :)

A client let me borrow a pony, I bought a horn on etsy, and made my little girl believe in a little bit of magic...

She was loving every second with Nugget the unicorn. 

She is the biggest turd at times, but she can turn on that sweet switch in a matter of seconds and I'm done.  

She loves to sing at all times (which is exactly how I was at her age am). 

She is so curious and ask questions about everything (she gets that from her Daddy). 

She completely cracks our family up with the crazy & hilarious things that come out of her mouth.

Last year I started asking Averie a list of questions to see how she answers over the years. 

My 4 year-old girl's answers for this year:

1. What is your favorite color?  pink 

2. What is your favorite toy? A horsey

3. What is your favorite fruit? strawberries

4. What is your favorite tv show? Little Einsteins

5. What is your favorite thing to eat for lunch? yogurt

6. What is your favorite outfit? a dress with boots

8. What is your favorite snack? fruit chews

9. What is your favorite animal? A unicorn

10. What is your favorite song? A-v-e-r-i-e

11. What is your favorite book? Jack & the Beanstalk

12. Who is your best friend? Kylar

13. What is your favorite cereal? The square cracker

14. What is your favorite thing to do outside?  play

15. What is your favorite drink? chocolate milk

16. What is your favorite holiday? Christmas

17. Where's your favorite place to go? The park

18. What is your favorite movie?  Star Wars

19. What do you want for dinner on your birthday? Pizza  

20. What do you want to be when you grow up? A mommy and have boobies

She is so very dramatic... (two shots above taken mere seconds apart).

Her innocence is precious.

 She is extremely adventurous and clumsy.

She has the best giggle in the entire world.

She is smart, beautiful, and has such a kind heart.

Maddox, 2 years: Nashville Photographer

I love, love, love seeing this family! It's been a year since I've seen Maddox and he was a riot today. Not only is he absolutely adorable, but his huge personality makes me want to squeeze on him that much more! I had so many favorites and it was extremely difficult to narrow which ones to post.

Baylor, 3 months: Nashville Baby Photographer

When Baylor came in smiling at me, I thought for sure her shoot was going to be a breeze! However, she had other plans. This girl was in a very serious mood when I got my camera out and her mom and I tried every trick in the book to get some grins out of her. It was tough, but our hard work earned us a couple.  :)

The Stogners: Nashville Maternity Photographer

Erin & Erich are expecting baby #2 in five short weeks and I am so excited to meet their baby boy when he gets here! I have been photographing them for the last 15 months (since Ava was just a few days old) and I know baby boy Stogner will be just as precious and sweet as his big sister. I'm so happy to be able to document another year with this awesome family.

Ava, 2 years: Franklin, TN Photographer

I have been photographing this family since Ava was only a few days old and time has flown by! Her mom warned me that she had been having a rough day, but when we started the session Ava did so great!! (I still think you must have been lying Amy).  ;)  

Her Daddy recently restored his grandfather's truck and since Ava loves it, they wanted to use it for the session. I jumped on that idea! I told Amy the setup I had in mind and it turned out awesome. I love, love, love, those shots! And I love this family.

Jonah, 6 months: Nashville Baby Photographer

Jonah is proving to be nothing like his sister was when she was a baby--he actually likes me! ;)

He is just starting to sit up and did so good for his session this afternoon. I will not mention how much effort it took to get that brother/sister shot, but it was well worth it.

Emerson, 1 year: Nashville Baby Photographer

Emerson will turn ONE next week and I feel like his first year has flown by so quickly (ok, I feel that way with all my babies). He has been a beautiful, happy boy since he was only a few days old and I love seeing all 24lb. of him. Ha ha. He has also recently been picked up by a local modeling agency and I have no doubt you will be seeing this beautiful face somewhere besides this blog very soon.  :)
