Mena, 1 year old: Nashville Baby Photographer

I adore Mena. She is seriously one of the cutest babies ever and always the best little model when she comes in. I'm telling you, this kid was made to be in front of the camera! That little attitude of her is just delicious and if you don't want to pick her up and squeeze her when you meet her I think you may have something wrong with you.  ;)

Happy Birthday, Mena!

Happy Birthday Ensleigh: Nashville Baby Photographer

Miss Ensleigh just celebrated turning one and I think she is already over the big fuss. Ha ha. Poor thing was not in the mood for photos and didn't want anything to do with her cake. In fact, all she wanted were her puffs and we were actually hiding them behind the cake to try and get her to eat it. She would only eat the ones that didn't have any icing on them. She was so funny!

Here are some favorites...

Cooper, 9 months: Nashville Baby Photographer

Cooper...is...hilarious. He has the biggest personality and was hysterical today during his photo shoot. He kept giving his mom huge kisses during the family shots and had a fit after we took that laptop away from him. Apparently, he is a tech geek already!  ;)

Check out this cutie...

Maddux's First Year: Nashville Baby Photographer

Another first year down in the books! The ever adorable Maddux just celebrated his first birthday and I am so happy I have been able to photograph him over the last year. He and big sis Karlyn are just beautiful and both ham it up for the camera. I am really going to miss seeing them so much and I think this was my favorite shoot yet with them.

So great to see you all!

CMT: Nashville Headshot Photographer

Adam and Lynne work for CMT and popped in for some quick headshots while they are in town from New York. These two were so fun and had me laughing pretty much the whole session. We had to do a couple "Blue Steel" looks together at the end. Ha ha!

Here's a little peek...

UPDATED 03.30.11

Amanda stopped by for her headshot this morning for CMT and rocked it. She is extremely photogenic and made my job super easy. Her eyes are to die for!

Anderson, 9 months: Nashville Baby Photographer

I have said this a lot lately, but Anderson truly is one of the easiest babies ever. He is always in a terrific mood and we were in and out of 4 outfits in 20 minutes. It's crazy! He has this new little scrunched up face that he does and it totally cracked me up (see last image). He also has what his mom had affectionately dubbed "the weird crawl" where he keeps one leg straight as he gets around. So funny!

Enjoy.  :)

Amanda & Joe: Manchester Wedding Photographer

Amanda and Joe live in Memphis and until yesterday I had not met them. While Amanda and I had talked on the phone a couple times, I really had no idea what to expect when I was driving to Manchester yesterday. Oh, and did I also mentioned it rained ALL day??

When I got to the church the rain had slowed to a sprinkle and I was hoping that Amanda and Joe would be game to go outside for photos anyway (I even brought along my rain boots to let Amanda borrow in case she agreed).

Much to my delight, Amanda and Joe turned out to be extremely mellow and relaxed about the whole situation. As Amanda said to me, you only get married once and you want to have great photos! I immediately loved her...and she took me up on my rain boot offer. (By the way, I left them at the church...so someone has a new pair of boots)     ;)

The guys were having a great time with their photos. They cracked me up!

The girls were great sports too and I love these smiles...

Amanda and Joe chose not to see each other before the wedding, but they did want a photo together before the ceremony where they couldn't see each other. It was a very sweet moment.

The sanctuary at the church was beautifully lit with stringed lights and chandeliers.

The bride's father officiated and I'm pretty sure there was not a dry eye in the house as he talked about his baby daughter and the man she was marrying. It was extremely heart-felt and not only touching, but pretty funny at times too.

After the ceremony, we had plans to drive down the street to take photos at the place where Amanda's parent were married 27 years ago. The rain was back, but again these two were game to go anyway! They  were absolutely precious together and so obviously in love. I think we have more kissing photos than anything else because they were paying no attention to me. Ha ha. In fact, as they were walking and kissing in the rain, I heard a collective shouts of "Eeeewww...gross!" behind me.

I turned and saw this--we had a big laugh...

Amanda and Joe, I had a wonderful time meeting you (and your family and friends). I hope you love your preview and I wish you many years of happiness together. I think you are off to a great start. Congratulations!

Greer, 1 year old: Nashville Baby Photographer

Between traffic, being late and frazzled, a sleepy baby, and limited shooting time, we had a rough start with Greer's session!  However, after giving him his cake first thing and a couple other events that lead to having a full shoot, we ended up with great results! Greer was his usual happy self after everything was settled and mom came prepared with a plethora of props to incorporate into the images. Ta da!!

Hope you love the preview.  :)
