Stephanie & Jeremy: Cleaveland, GA Wedding Photographer {Destination Wedding Photographer} Kellum Valley Farm Wedding Photographer

Yesterday,  Paula (my awesome assistant) and I left bright and early to make the 4.5 hour trip to The Ruins at Kellum Valley Farm. The forecast said there was an 80% chance of thunderstorms throughout the day and we were sending some positive energy out that we would have some dry moments for Steph and Jeremy's outdoor wedding.

When we arrived, we were in wedding photographer heaven. This venue was absolutely incredible. We started scouting around immediately and I had a thousand ideas in my mind for their day. I couldn't wait to get started!

Yep, Steph had two equally fabulous dresses (and you'll see why that was a great thing...)

Jeremy getting ready to brave the humidity.

As Steph was getting into her dress, the back popped. You could hear the collective gasps in the room! Any other bride would have burst into tears, but Steph just busted out laughing. This is why I knew I was going to love the entire day. A quick zipper fix and she was ready to go.  :)

I LOVED the ceremony site. Old school ruins from the 1800's.

The girls had some of the prettiest bouquets I have ever seen.

As soon as it was time to start the ceremony, it started sprinkling.

These two didn't care. As soon as they saw each other, they had permanent grins plastered on their face.

The rain started coming down harder, but umbrellas were quickly passed out and the ceremony continued. Everyone was laughing and it definitely added a little charm to the day.

And because of the rain, we got these amazing shots...

And then a rainbow.

Hmmm...think these two might be a little bit in love?  ;)

It was time to move on to the reception!

After dancing and slinging water & mud around in her dress, Steph decided to change.

Because there was another storm on way, the (fabulous) coordinator thought it would be a good idea to go ahead and do the cake cutting, toasts, garter,  bouquet toss.

The toasts were all so touching and I think that most of the guests probably got a little teary at some parts. However, it was a good thing that they were done because you can guess what happened literally moments after all of the above mentioned activities were done....

All of the bridal party and guests were such troopers during the showers that passed through! When we got another little break in the weather, we decided to go ahead with Steph & Jeremy's sparkler exit...

(I won't mention that the bride's brother singed my hair...)

I wish you could have seen the fun that was had at the end of the night with a few select guests playing with the sparklers. If only someone had been videoing the scene--we were all cracking up at the attempts at sparkler art. Ha ha.

Jeremy and Steph, I had the best time documenting your day. Thank you so much for letting me be a part of it. You two are adorable together and I hope to be able to see you again some time. Enjoy your time in Costa Rica!!!! (I am super jealous)
