Cutie Pie Carter

Carter was back for his 3-month session today and he is still just beautiful! He is super baby-- already rolling over and sleeping through the night. He was all (mostly) smiles and I could have just eaten him up! Dad is a big MTSU fan, so we had to get that middle shot in. ;)

Easton

Little Easton will celebrate his first birthday in a few weeks and his parents brought him in yesterday for his first shoot with me. I just adored him! He had the prettiest big brown eyes and was so mellow. We finished his shoot in record time and got the cutest shots.

Happy Birthday Easton! :)

The Elliott Clan

I spent most of the day Saturday at the Opryland Hotel with the almost ENTIRE Elliott extended family. That's right...go ahead and count all 33 of them! One section of this group is my adoptive 2nd family, so it was honestly a great time working with everyone. We had people flying in from all around to be a part of this day, and thanks to the super-organizational skills of Nicole (shout out to her--she's amazing!), it all went pretty smoothly to be considering all that were involved.

We did a few large group shots of everyone, sub-families, couples shots, kid shots, and everything in between. Since there were soooooo many images from the day, I decided to just narrow it down to a shot of each family for the blog.

Hope you enjoy the preview Elliott family! :)

It's Summar time...

I met the Summar family this morning for Grant's 4 year photos and Miss Claire's 18-month shots. These kids are soooooo adorable and I just had a blast hanging out with them today. Grant is a little ham (check out that jumping shot) and Claire was so sweet I could just eat her (love her sad face)!

I really hope you love your preview, Chesley and Andy! :)

MacDaddy of Dresses ;)

Today was "Show us your dress" day over at Kelly's Korner (http://www.kellyskornerblog.com/2009/07/show-us-your-life-wedding-dress.html). Who doesn't LOVE to show off their wedding dress?!? I am hopping on this bandwagon. :)

I got married at the Nashville Zoo in the bamboo garden on September 15, 2007. It was (and always will be) one the most amazing days of my life. Nothing could have messed this day up--I was sooooo excited to be marrying my best friend.

Anyway, my dress was FAB-U-LOUS. It was made by Pronovias and created in Spain. It was a champagne/gold color and fit me perfectly. I bought it at The White Room in Lebanon (after going to 20 different places in 2 different states) and knew as soon as I put it on--and finally took it off and hour later--that it was THE DRESS. It was just classic and I loved everything about it.

Now, I just have to lose the baby weight so I can fit into it again. My friends and I always talk about wanting to have a yearly "wedding dress" party so we can all wear them again. Ha ha ha.
Enjoy! :)

Sarah's bridal portraits

I will be shooting Sarah's wedding in October at Nashville Shores. Today, we met up at Percy Warner Park for her bridal photos. She was working it this afternoon! I swear I have the most beautiful brides. Sarah was pretty much up for anything and didn't want to do "typical" bride shots. She was just awesome and so great in front of the camera!

Let me know if you like them, Sarah! :)

Lucky number 7

Tricia wanted to document her last pregnancy with some maternity photos. This is baby number 7 (!!) and girl number 3. Tricia brought along her other beautiful daughters and had a girl's day at the studio. Let me just tell you how unfair it is that Tricia looks this fabulous after carrying 7 babies... Talk about great genetics--she is delivering next week!

Tricia also makes some of the absolutely adorable photo props that I have been using on my newborn shoots lately, so keep your eyes peeled for some new stuff coming from her.

Hope you love them!

The Rowe Family

The moment these little boys walked in the door today, I knew we were going to have an awesome shoot. They are GORGEOUS! Jake and Riggs are 7 and 5 years old. Their energy was great and we had an awesome time during their shoot today.

Kristy and Jay--you are in trouble when these two get older! It was wonderful working with your family. I hope to see you soon (maybe for maternity photos)?!? ;)

**Special thanks to Jackie who shadowed on today's shoots. Hope you had a good time hanging out! :)
