Stella & Harper: Nashville Newborn Twin Photographer

So, it is hard enough to get one newborn to cooperate during a session. Throw in an additional baby and it is usually at least a couple of hours of feeding, swaddling, snuggling, then getting one asleep to have the other wake up. Stella and Harper were complete perfection. They set out to take over "easiest twin newborn shoot" title and they succeeded.

Seriously...how adorable are the girls? They completely melted me.

And that last shot (dad is a DJ)--ridiculous. My favorite.

The Richards Family: Nashviile Family Photographer

The Richards family came in for their first session with me today--and it was actually their first family photos EVER.  Their kids are 15, 13, and 9....and this was their first family session?!?  Shellie (mom) told me that someone recently told her that her kids will have plenty photos of themselves when they were younger, because we all take a ton of photos of our kids. However, they will want to see pictures of their parents (don't we all like looking at photos our parents/grandparents when they were younger?).

I am so glad they came in for a 2 hour session because now they will have tons of photos together. We had a blast hanging out and I really hope they love their preview!!

Brooklynn: Nashville Baby Photographer

Brooklynn Grace is 6 weeks old and perfect. Her mom and dad wanted to wait and do her newborn session until she was "officially" theirs and I feel so lucky that I got to meet them today. Brooklynn is so wanted, loved, and adored by her parents and I absolutely loved spending time getting to know a little bit about their family. Brooklynn loved when her Daddy was playing the guitar--even though it was out of tune. It's an amazing bond already!  ;)

Congratulations again Melanie and Farron. I look forward to watching Miss Brooklyn grow over the next year!

Brady: Nashville Child Photographer

Brady started off my day right this morning with his uber cute smile and easy going personality. This kid was about as happy as it gets! Dad was a pro at being a goofball and had little man smiling for his whole session. Just look at that sparkle in his eyes--soooooo cute!!

Maddox, 3 weeks: Nashville Newborn Photographer

Maddox was so ready to enter this world that he was born 7 weeks early. Luckily, he is healthy and got to come home after a couple of weeks growing in the NICU. He is absolutely perfect and so precious--as expected with parents like Ryan and Chandra. We all got a huge laugh when during the shot of mom and baby below--Maddox peed right in Chandra's face. Ryan couldn't stop laughing , but I don't think Chandra was amused.   ;)

Maddux & Karlyn: Nashville Baby Photographer

These two kiddos are just plain beautiful. Maddux is almost too pretty to be a boy and was in a terrific mood today. Karlyn just turned 5, so we had to spotlight her as well in her fabulous outfits. I am just in love with all the images from their shoot. Love, love, love Mom's fashion sense and these two are just precious anyway...  ;)

Caroline, 3 months: Nashville Baby Photographer

Little Caroline came in for her 2nd session of out Baby's First Year package and if you can believe it, had even more hair than last time! I joked with her mom that it almost looks like she is wearing a wig. She looks so much older than 3 months and is ridiculously cute. Grammy came along today as well to help us get some smiles and we all had a great time.

Presley, 6 months and Gabby: Nashville Baby Photographer

Gabby and Presley proved yet again to be the easiest kiddos around. Gabby was cheesing it up beyond words today and is SUCH a goofball. She seriously cracks me up. Miss Presley was adorable as usual with her big blue eyes and super sweet grins. What more can I say?

Harper, 6 months: Nashville Baby Photographer

Harper was back for her 3rd session today and is already 6 months old! She is still such a tiny little thing and as cute as ever. I'm pretty sure she hated me today as she  looked like this for pretty much the whole shoot...



HOWEVER,  between her not-so-happy mood she had moments of smiles...and it just so happens my shutter finger is pretty darn quick. I told you not to freak out Danya.  ;)
