Averie Grace turns 2...

Two years ago, at 3:32 AM I gave birth to my daughter.

Time passes entirely too quickly.

She has gone from mellow baby to dramatic toddler.

She is already so girly. We are in trouble.

I ♥ her more than I could ever tell her...

Happy Birthday baby girl.

And she happened to be born on my sexy hubby's birthday. Happy 34th baby.  :)



Emma, 9 days: Nashville Newborn Photographer

Emma was born 9 days ago and was (almost) the perfect newborn model. I say almost, only because she decided to explode on her Dad as soon as we layed her naked on his arm. We all had a good laugh, but I don't think Dad was amused. Ha ha ha. That camouflage photo is Emma wrapped in her Dad's jacket-so sweet! Emma also got to test out my new sling and I am in LOVE with that first image.

Congratulations again Gabe and Michelle! It was great meeting you guys.

Jameson & Norah: Nashville Twin Newborn Photographer

 These sweet babies were born at only 27 weeks on 08.09.10, but thankfully are doing so great! Norah and Jameson are still tiny at around 5lb. each and once we got them asleep, they were so cooperative. As long as we gave Norah her pacifier and snatched it at the last second, we were good. Jameson could have stayed molded into a ball all day long.  :)

It was wonderful meeting you Penny & Daniel (and Nancy).  See you in 3 months--enjoy!



Owen, 9 months: Murfreesboro Baby Photographer

Today was my 4th shoot with Owen...and until today I was convinced that he hated me. This little man has given me "the lip" every time I have seen him, but TODAY he liked me and what more does a girl need really? He was in a fantastic mood and I had a really difficult time picking favorites for the blog. How freaking cute is he?!? Please be sure to study that last shot. L-O-V-E it...and we worked hard for it. Ha ha.

Anna, 12 days: Nashville Newborn Photographer

Anna is 12 days of pure perfection. She came in this morning wide awake and knew something strange was up. She did not want to miss anything that was happening, but we finally got her nice and sleepy after a couple of feeding breaks. She is the cutest little thing and I loved all of her hair and precious little lips. That pumpkin hat they brought in is too cute and I LOVE the last shot of Anna in the christening gown that her great-grandmother made. All the names of the babies that have worn it are embroidered on the slip...how beautiful is that?

It was great meeting you Kristine, Kyle, and Grandma Kay. Now for your sneak peek...  :)

The Butler Girls: Nashville Children Photographer

Wallis won a mini-session with me at the Tennessee Wildlife Federation's Governors Dove Hunt and Bird Hunter's Ball (http://www.tnwf.org/). She brought her girls Wesley Anne, Campbell, & Ella in for the shoot. These girls are everything sisters should be--adorable with each other in fleeting moments, but also completely on each other's nerves. Ha ha ha.

Hannah: Nashville Children Photographer

Hannah recently celebrated her 7th birthday and today we got to celebrate with her first photo shoot! We started off outside and Hannah had a fit of giggles, but refused to tell me what was so funny. Then she perfected her "serious" look and those piercing eyes about killed me! This little lady has a future in modeling--someone get her an agent.

Sylvia (http://www.seriouslyfoxy.com/) did a fabulous job on Hannah's hair.

The Irons Family: Nashville Children Photographer

Kari, Andy, Aaron, and Owen had their first session with me yesterday afternoon and they are a beautiful family! (Yes, I do prescreen my clients and only take the best looking ones.) Aaron and Owen were sooooo cute and so well behaved. I was quite impressed with them! It made for a quick and easy shoot.

Anna: Nashville Baby Photographer

The last time I saw Anna, she was only 4 months old. She just celebrated her first birthday and I was super excited to see her again. This little lady was SO sweet and I could have brought her home with me. She was in a great mood and had the best time with Mom and Dad being silly.
