A Big, Fat Giveaway!!!

In honor of the exciting studio news, I'm having a pretty spectacular giveaway. Well, at least I think it's  fabulous and I hope you do too...  ;)

I hear so often how people (hopefully not my clients?!) are not pleased with their wedding photos and wish they had spent more time researching photographers. This makes me SO SAD. I always say you don't get a do over with your wedding, but I'm hoping this little contest might make up for having less than stellar wedding images.

I am teaming up with the extremely talented ladies of Seriously Foxy Makeup & Skincare and One Source Weddings to give one couple a wedding photo do over! You will get a fully styled photoshoot complete with hair, makeup, flower styling, and location setup! I am so excited!!

How do you enter??

1. Make sure you "like" the BKP fanpage
2. Post one of your wedding photos on that page along with a few words on why you were not satisfied with your photos. (bad lighting, you think you look better now, etc.!)

I will select a winner on Monday, May 23rd.

The winning couple can either wear their original wedding attire, or why not upgrade if you want a new dress?  ;)

Happy, Happy New Year!

 Thank you all for letting me into your lives--2010 was was a great year for BKP. Many of you come back time and time again, and I love getting to know you and becoming friends with you. You all make it possible for me to do what I love. I hope to keep growing as a photographer and giving you images you truly cherish (sounds cheesy, but oh so true).

This year will bring some changes. I am so very lucky to be so busy. However, with the crazy growth that is happening I am booking months in advance. I hate having to turn people away, so please book as early as possible.  (This goes for newborns as well. Book while you are still pregnant! I am only taking so many shoots per month)

I have prided myself on keeping my prices competitive since I know a lot of you pinch pennies for your shoots. Unfortunately, my studio rent did go up a couple of months ago and that means I have raised my pricing slightly to reflect this increase. If you are already on Baby's First Year, this will not apply to you. All new packages are on the website.

I have FINALLY created a Facebook Fanpage! If we reach 500 fans by Friday, I will have the first giveaway for the year. Go "like" the page and tell all your friends.

As many of you know, things have been beyond crazy around here.  I am so thankful to have such wonderful clients that pass my name along to everyone they know (and maybe get referral coupons in the mail for doing so--ha).  Not only am I smack in the middle of crazy holiday season and wrapping wedding season up, but I took on a book project. What was I thinking? Yeah, no idea.

Well, I teamed up with the awesomely talented Tricia Drake (visit her store here) to shoot images for her upcoming book "Welcoming Home Baby: The Handcrafted Way".  Tric makes the most ADORABLE hats, blankets, and baby wraps and this book gives you step-by-step instructions on how to knit them. They are just awesome (and I now have a great new collection to use on your babies)!  We've been working our tails off trying to get everything finished and we are FINALLY done. Whoo hoo! The book will be out in March and I know we are both very excited about it.

SO...in celebration of completing this huge project and to show my appreciation for how patient you all have been while I have fallen behind on getting your images to you--it's GIVEAWAY time!!
