Annabel Laine, 10 Days: Nashville Newborn Photographer {Middle TN Newborn Photographer}

Annie wasn't due for a couple weeks, but she decided she wanted to go ahead and make her debut! She is a feisty little lady and loud. This girl will have no trouble telling people what's on her mind when she gets older.  ;) Mom wanted to do some shots that complimented big sister Layla's newborn session and I think these will be perfect....just like these girls.

Remington Storm, 10 days: Nashville Newborn Photographer {Middle TN Newborn Photographer}

Remington Storm...how fantastic is this guy's name?? At over 9 pounds, I was loving squishing him into poses. In return, he loved soiling every blanket I put him on. Ha ha ha. He was a great model today and I loved meeting him, his mommy, and his nana.

Gibran, 10 days: Nashville Newborn Photographer {Middle TN Newborn Photographer}

Gibran looks exactly like his big brother Zaya when he was a newborn (which means another beautiful baby for this family). He was out when he arrived and we got through the first of mom's favorite setups, but then he decided to be awake for quite some time. After a feeding break I got to snuggle him lots until he was putty in my hands again.

Jack & Hudson, 1 year: Nashville Newborn Photographer

Jack and Hudson just turned ONE. Crazy.

They were not particularly in the mood for photos today, but we were making it through the session with crazy faces and funny noises. Hudson slipped and fell, but brushed it off. We took a feeding break. Then, it was Jack's turn to take a spill and poor guy immediately had a huge goose-egg and scrape in the middle of his forehead! After some snuggles, ice, and a little break, I am happy to say he was happy enough again to eat the cake that mom made for him and his brother.

Blakelynn Jo, 10 days: Nashville Newborn Photographer {Middle TN Photographer}

Blakelynn Jo was about as perfect a model as I could get for her first session today.  She only protested a couple times, but it took about 5 seconds for me to soothe her. This baby girl has the best chubby cheeks. How cute is she!? I'm looking forward to documenting her first year!

Luke, 9 days: Nashville Newborn Photographer

It's been awhile since I've seen this clan and I was thrilled to meet their newest addition this afternoon! Luke was wide awake for the first part of our session and I was warned that big sis Kaylee was not in a fantastic mood, but you guys know I am always up for a challenge right?  ;)

Well, as it turns out--Luke was extremely cooperative (whether awake or in a milk coma) and all of my tricks worked with Kaylee and we got some super cute sibling shots.

Mission accomplished!

Magnolia, 1 year: Nashville Baby Photographer

Miss Magnolia Grace is about to celebrate her first birthday. I met her Mommy and Daddy a little more than a year ago when they came in for a maternity session and I immediately fell in love with them. I knew that I would fall in love with Maggie too when she was born.

{I was right.}

This shoot is not only celebrating the first year of life of this beautiful girl, but it's the first official shoot I've done of the M three where Joanna is cancer free. Jo has said that even with the cancer, all the surgeries, and chemo treatments she has gone through in the past year, it has definitely been one of the best years of her life because of this face.

I have told Joanna so many times how thankful I am that our paths have crossed. She is one of the most remarkable women that I have ever met and thousands that have never met her have been inspired by her journey. I am so very lucky to call her a dear friend and so happy that she trusted me once again to document the love that she, Mark, and Maggie have for each other. 

I love this family.

Lots can happen in a year...

Gavyn, 3 years: Nashville/Smyrna Photographer

Gavyn will turn 3 tomorrow. That's crazy! She is gorgeous, fun, smart, hilarious, and just completely adored by everyone who meets her. I love this girl and her family!! We did some shots at the studio which are super cute, but the tea party with her favorite "purple" blanket and her princess doggy? 

Can't take it.
