Peyton, 7 days: Nashville Newborn Photographer

I first shot the Miller family when they were expecting their little boy, Alex, back in 2008. I have been waiting anxiously to get my hands on their newest arrival. Since they didn't find out what they were having, I was extremely excited to find out they had another baby boy! Peyton Allen was born during the snow storm last Monday and is just as precious as his big brother. He was fighting his sleep today, but we still had a great shoot.

Congratulations again Kat, John, and Alex!! Peyton is perfect.  :)

The Ogle Family: Nashville Photographer

Well, I have no idea how to even begin this post...

Yolanda came and saw me last year and surprised her hubby, Ron, with a boudoir session. After that, she managed to convince him and their son to come in for a family shoot. These guys were less than thrilled about having their photos taken...for about the first 5 minutes. Never have I seen a man more into a shoot than Ron! He was all about wanting to look like a rock star and said after this he'd better find an agent. I was cracking up the entire session. I think that even by the end, Jha'Sun was having a blast too.  ;)

Hope your preview lives up to your expectations. I had so much fun with you all!

Presley, 9 months and Gabby: Nashville Baby Photographer

The Cox beauties were back this morning for another fun-filled session. One more to go and Miss Presley will be turning one!! These two are super girly and apparently even Presley is already matching big sister Gabby's attitude. Dustin and Karie--you guys are in sooo much trouble.  ;)

Enjoy the preview!

Smith: Nashville Senior Photographer

Smith will graduate high school this year and needed to have his "senior portraits" done. I shot his cousin, Dakota, a couple of years ago and Smith and his mom loved that session. So, they all came in today to watch Smith see if he could top Dakota's shoot. I think it's safe to say that everyone is this family is super photogenic. Smith totally rocked it out and I love his results.

Here's his sneak peek...

Caroline, 6 months: Nashville Baby Photographer

Miss Caroline is somehow already 6 months and was showing off her sitting up skills this afternoon. Mom brought in the most adorable outfits and I finally got to meet Dad. We had to do their first family shots and thankfully it was a little warmer today and we got to go outside. Caroline loves her toes and I had to snap a couple of shots of her eating them. So cute!

Tyce, 5 days: Nashville Newborn Photographer

I've shot Jen and Mike's engagement photos, wedding, maternity pictures, and now their baby! I was thrilled when Mike called Monday and said that Tyce was here.  He was tiny weighing only 6.3, so luckily we got to stuff him in Dad's helmet. (That shot was not easy and Tyce hated it) Dad said he will be riding by the time he is 4, so we'll see.  ;)

Loved seeing you guys again. So excited for your new little family!

Harper, 9 months: Nashville Baby Photographer

Harper hated me at her six month session, so I was really hoping today would be my lucky day with her. She came in and as soon as her parents put her on the floor...she burst into tears. Ha ha ha. We all tried extremely hard to get smiles out of her, but she kept looking at us like we were nuts. Then--during the last five minutes of her shoot--the smiles came out and she decided she didn't hate me. I think we have upgraded to just her not liking me.  ;)

Anna, 3 months: Nashville Baby Photographer

Anna was back for her second session today and I was going crazy over all of her hair! Mom and Dad said she has had pretty bad colic, but she was a champ during her session. She was more interested in looking around than paying attention to us, but--of course--as soon as I would put my camera down she was all smiles. Doesn't it always work that way?

Here are a few favorites! :)

Tristan, 8 days: Nashville Newborn Photographer

Tristan is our first newborn of 2011 and he gave us a run for our money! At 8 days new, he stayed awake for almost his entire session. He wasn't fussy at all--he just knew we wanted him to go to sleep and he didn't want to miss anything. We still ended up with some awesome images and I am in love with that first shot of this new family.

It was great meeting you Ashlie and Curt!  :)

Curt said I HAD to post a tea cup shot, so here you go! Ha ha.
