Mia, 9 months: Nashville Baby Photographer

Mia's mom found me through a photo that was hanging in a Tullahoma store. Not sure who's it was, but thanks for passing my info along so I could meet this sweet angel. She was SO happy and easy to please. We set a record for fastest shoot and got nothing but grins from this baby girl. How stinking cute is she??

Here's some of my favorites...

p.s. I think she looks just like a Cupie Doll!  :)

Maddox, 6 months: Nashville Baby Photographer

I can't believe that Maddox is almost 7 months old. Time is going by entirely too fast!! He was in a terrific mood yesterday and this baby loves his Daddy. I couldn't believe the huge smiles we were getting out of him when Dad was acting like a fool. It was pretty darn cute.

Great to see you Chandra and Ryan!

Ella, 4 years: Nashville Children's Photographer

I hadn't seen Ella in a year and a half and could not believe how grown up she was when she walked into the studio yesterday. She is a little lady now! Mom warned that she gave Ella juice to liven her up beforehand, and boy was she ever bouncing off the walls! She had a blast dancing and running around the studio and even sported her "Belle" costume at the end.

Enjoy her preview!

Krista & Clint Tie the Knot!! Murfreesboro, TN Wedding Photographer (Oaklands)

As many I know you know, I worked for the wonderfully talented Krista Lee for many years. She has not only been a great mentor to me, but a wonderful friend. She shot my wedding a few years ago and I was delighted to finally be able to return the favor for her.

Krista was so calm and peaceful throughout the day yesterday and looked absolutely radiant. Just imagine how much fun it is to photograph your friend's wedding and be able to do pretty much whatever you want. Not only that, but the wedding was planned from a photographer's viewpoint--it was a dream!

We started off at Krista's hotel room at Embassy Suites in Murfreesboro.

LOVED that Krista wanted to jump on the bed in her dress. We had so much fun here.

Isn't she beautiful?

Clint's not too bad on the eyes either...  ;)

The details for the day were delicious! There was a photo booth set up with vintage frames and photo props when guests arrived for the ceremony at Oaklands. "The guest book" was their wedding invite design burned into a piece of wood. Guests could put their fingerprints on the tree and sign it. ♥

The day was perfect.

Krista and Clint are disgustingly cute together. Not only are they obviously crazy about each other, but they have the best time together. This is what love is supposed to look like.

This pretty much sums up the reception. More props for dancing and crazy fun. It was hilarious!

Krista and Clint, I am beyond happy for you both. Thank you for trusting me to capture your day. You two are so good together and I hope you always remember the love you have for each other right now. Have a fabulous time on your cruise!!

Happy Birthday to my (not so little) man!

ELEVEN.

For some reason, every year seems so much older than the last.

Ian made me a mother. I had him very young and he changed my purpose in life.

I can't begin to describe the love I have for this kid.

(I also can't begin to describe how terrified I am that he is growing up and will be a bigger smart mouth than he is now. Yikes!)

He wanted to have 2 friends sleepover instead of a party. His friends think I am awesome for giving them a rockstar photo shoot. Ian is SO over shooting with me, but he had a blast since it was with his friends instead of his little sister...   ;)

You can tell they weren't having any fun at all...

Happy 11th (!?!) Birthday Ian!

It's good to be your Mommy.

Vella turns One: Murfreesboro, TN Baby Photographer

We had Vella's final session from our Baby's First Year package this morning at her house. When I walked in, I was informed that she was sleepy and it was nap time. However, Miss Vella was a trooper and lasted the whole shoot without a breakdown. She was hamming it up for me and the photos are adorable just like her!

Happy Birthday, Vella. I have loved photographing your first year!!

"Yep...I'm one!"
