Rose & Alice, 105 days: Nashville Twin Newborn Photographer

Alice and Rose were both barely over 1lb when they were born in August. After spending lots of time growing and getting stronger in the NICU, they are doing so great! Rose still has some oxygen, but they are a little over 5lb and 6lb at almost 4 months. Such little miracle babies! I loved meeting them and seeing their big sister Grace.

She told me they smell like donuts.

**Huge thanks to Chesley Summar for being a fabulous second set of hands with these precious girls***

Sophie, Piper, & Finley: Nashville Photographer

It's been two years since I've seen this clan and I was excited to finally meet their newest addition. Sophie, Piper, and Finley are seriously gorgeous girls.  I had a great time with them trying to get lots of giggles. So fun!

Tessa, 3 months: Nashville Baby Photographer

Miss Tessa was a sleepy gal after a long night at the Predators game. She's starting young. Ha ha! She was still a good sport and I'm so happy I got to see that sweet face.

Jaylee, 3 months: Nashville Baby Photographer

Jaylee is simply scrumptious. Her Mommy brought in way too many cute wardrobe options, but  I adore that nakie shot of her on her Mommy's blanket. Such a little beauty!!

Elizabeth, 3 months: Nashville Baby Photographer

This girl is so stinking happy! I threatened to steal her.
I still might the next time I see her. She's delicious.

Sheppard Wilson, 12 days: Nashville Newborn Photographer {Middle TN Newborn Photographer}

Sheppard was roly-poly deliciousness this morning. He kept flashing that sweet grin, but of course gave the biggest ones when I was not holding my camera. Little stinker! Literally, he pooped on every set. Ha ha. So excited to watch him grow over his first year...

Lincoln Marshall, 13 days: Nashville Newborn Photographer

Lincoln is constantly puckering up those sweet lips. It was the most adorable face. His parents call his expressions his emoticons. So funny! He was so good for his first photoshoot today--perfect model material.

Introducing Lincoln....

Magnolia Grace, 3 years: Smyrna, TN Photographer

I've been so excited about Maggie's 3 year session!! My dear friends Joanna & Mark made the 50 minute drive to meet me at this gorgeous cotton field where I envisioned Maggie running around and having a blast. However, when they arrived she was sleeping and this girl was not happy about waking up. We tried for about 40 minutes through tears and snuggles to get her to play, but she just kept saying she wanted to go home. We tried bribery. Nada. We tried to trick her into getting out of Jo's arms. Nada. All of my usual tricks just weren't working.

So, we decided to give up and said our goodbyes. On our drive out, I called Jo and told her we might as well get some shots of just her and Mark since the light was gorgeous. They agreed and we pulled over. We left Maggie in the car and I took a few shots of them. I hear Maggie crying, so I told them to let me go get her out of the car. She cried the whole walk to Mommy & Daddy, but then we used some cotton to wipe her nose and I threw some at her.

Was that a smile?

Success!!!

That's all it took.

We had so much fun giggling and chasing each other all around. Those golden curls were bouncing in the sunlight and her laughter was contagious. It was everything I hoped I would be able to capture for  this 3 year old girl.

Such a special day.

Happy Birthday, Maggie!!!!
