Hunter. 1 year: Nashville Baby Photographer

It's been a year since I've seen Hunter and he is about to celebrate his first birthday! He took no time at all to warm up and I think we were great friends by the end of his session. He wasn't a fan of his birthday cake, but you can't tell.  ;)

Kate, 3 months: Nashville Baby Photographer

Miss Kate was soooooo sleepy, but she made it through her whole session! It took a lot to get the couple of smiles that she surrendered, but with those cheeks she didn't even need them. So cute!

The Hesters: Murfreesboro Photographer {Nashville Photographer}

Every time I photograph this family, I am reminded of why I love getting to do this for a living. They gave me the best compliment every yesterday evening:

"You don't just capture a photograph where you just recognize the person's face. You capture who we are as a family. You actually tell our story. We get giddy when we get to see you."

I adore them so much and am so thankful they have been trusting me for 5 whole years with their story. Sydney asked me several times last night, "did that look as magical as it felt?" I told her that I feel like every session with them is magic. Their love is so easy to document and Adele's sweet spirit is one of my absolute favorites. 

Ava Natale, 13 days: Nashville Newborn Photographer

Ava is going to be one head strong little lady--and I think her parents are just fine with that! This beauty arrived at the studio wide awake and she was not afraid to voice if she was not happy about what was happening. She was not having certain poses and I told her she was making me look bad in front of her parents. Ha! She also kicked herself in the forehead at one point...we were all impressed with that move. She is so perfect.

Congratulations again, Alexa & Adam! It was wonderful to meet your sweet family!

Sheppard, 6 months: Nashville Baby Photographer

This baby boy is just SO dang cute. Sheppard tempts me to bring him home with me every time I see him. He is such a perfect little guy and so happy. Love those new teeth he was showing off!

Radnor, 9 months: Nashville Baby Photographer

Radnor still isn't my biggest fan, but oh that that sad lip!! It slays me every single time. Pair that with those big baby blues and I can't handle him. Love!

Harper, 6 months: Nashville Baby Photographer

Harper was as sweet as ever for her 6 month session. It was pretty easy to get that big smile out of her--until she decided I wasn't funny anymore. ;) Great to see her and her big brother, too!

The Shermans: Smyrna, TN Photographer

 We had THE most beautiful weather last night for the Sherman's session. Anna is so grown up and just keeps getting more beautiful every time I see her. Jude had me cracking up with his clumsiness. He was so funny. It was so fabulous to see them--as always!

Jude Alexander, 8 days: Nashville Newborn Photographer

 I spent yesterday with my cousins and the newest addition to our family at the zoo. Jude was sound asleep the entire day and couldn't be woken up for anything. His parents were talking about how he is such a great sleeper and I told them right then and there that he would be awake for his session today.

I was right.

This guy gave us a few minutes here and there, but nothing like that sound slumber yesterday. Ha ha. His big sister Caroline has to be THE most doting and adoring big sister I have ever seen. I did way more sibling setups than I usually do because she is so stinking sweet with him. Jude's parents claimed they had not seen a single smile from him yet, but he was full of them today. This first shot completely slays me.
