I Heart Faces: Beach Fun Photo Challenge

This week's challenge over at I Heart Faces was perfect since we just got back from our Tybee Island vacation a couple of weeks ago.  My 22-month old daughter had never seen the ocean before and ran straight for it as soon as her feet touched the sand. She has always been a water baby and she was in her element next to the ocean. She kept running around in circles, covering herself in the sand, and splashing in the ocean. It was amazing to watch her.

This was my favorite shot from our trip. It was the first time we put her on the sand.  I love the perfect circle of her little footprints and the sun flare just makes the shot of my sweet baby girl. It melts me...

Kennedy, 6 months: Nashville Baby Photographer

Kennedy is 1/2 way through our Baby's First Year Package! She was in the best mood today--all smiles! Mom came in well prepared with some adorable props! I just love that first shot with all the shoes (ha ha). The high chair, bear, and yellow shirt Kennedy is wearing were all her grandfathers when he was a baby. How precious are they?!?  I just had a blast with her session.

It was so hard to pick favorites!

Carson: Nashville Newborn Photographer

Carson had a rough start in this world. He is almost 6 weeks old, but was not supposed to be born until next month! After spending his first several weeks in the NICU, I am happy to report that he is perfect and doing wonderfully. He was the perfect newborn model today and has the cutest little squeak when he gets upset. Dad is an avid tennis player, so he brought along his racket for that adorable shot below.

Skye, 9 months: Nashville Baby Photographer

I met sweet Skye this morning for her first photo shoot. She was so quiet and mellow...and super cute! Mom and Dad say she is such an easy baby and she proved that to be true. She didn't make a peep the whole session! I also learned that she is going to be a big sister next year. I hope her little brother or sister is as calm as Miss Skye is!

Ellis, 9 months: Nashville Baby Photographer

Sweet Ellis is already 9 months old and he is on the move! Mom was worried that he would be all over the place, but she and Dad did a great job being my baby wranglers. Ellis was in a fabulous mood and I am IN LOVE with that lollipop shot. I'm so glad they brought it in with them! And how cute is Ellis in his little tux?

Kate, 9 months: Nashville Baby Photographer

Kate was back for her 9 month session today and she is getting so big--she's already 23 pounds! She has officially taken over the title of "smiliest baby ever." She is soooooo cute and of course so is her big brother Jack. He is so precious with his baby sister. I had a tough time picking favorites to post!

Danielle: Nashville Maternity Photographer

Danielle and Brandon are expecting a baby girl in  just a few short weeks! Danielle is super tiny--I had to make her push her tummy out in a lot of the shots. I'm not quite sure there is really a baby in that belly.  ;)   We had to turn the fan on her when she started getting hot, so we have that nice super-model windblown look in this first shot.

It was great meeting you two! I hope to meet Hailey soon. 

Adéle, 3 months: Nashville Baby Photograher

Miss Adéle was back for her 2nd session of our Baby's First Year Package today (see her newborn session here). Dad came along this time, so we had to get lots of cute family shots. This family is just adorable and I think Adéle is even more precious than the last time I saw her. I'm so glad I get to watch her grow!

Great seeing you again Sydney and glad to finally meet you Doug!

Harper, 12 days: Nashville Newborn Photographer

Harper was my 2nd newborn of the day and her family came prepared with their own props. How sweet are those little angel wings? She and her protective big brother Carter were such sweethearts. After a couple of feeding breaks, Harper was the picture perfect baby model (and Carter was pretty gosh-darn cute as well). I had a great time with this family.
