Trey, 6 months: Nashville Baby Photographer

Trey was welcomed into the happy baby club today after proving to be extremely mellow. He and big sis Leah Kate are just beautiful and I always have so much fun with them when they come in. Their Dad is a State Farm agent, so we had to get a couple of shots in the wagon (even though Mom didn't know about the elevator and lugged it up two flights of stairs!). Ha ha. That is dedication!

Isabel, 3 months: Nashville Newborn Photographer

Miss Isabel is 3 months old and we started our morning off a little fussy. She just wanted some snuggles from her Mommy and a little feeding break. After that, we were ready to bring out the smiles! She has the perfect little round head and is super sweet.

I can't wait to shoot the entire family at the next session!

It has been decided that Isabel looks nothing like her Mommy. Ha ha.

 

Anne Marie: 6 months: Nashville Baby Photographer

These big blue eyes and long lashes get me every time! Anne Marie is 6 months old and was in an awesome mood for her session this afternoon. She has the biggest smile and is offically a slobber box. Ha ha. I hope this poor baby has some new teeth to show for it very soon!

Alyson: Nashville Maternity Photographer

Alyson is one of the most adorable pregnant women ever. She and her husband Patrick are expecting their first baby in May. It's a little girl, but they have yet to agree on a name. If she is half as beautiful as her Mommy, she'll be very lucky. I had a great time getting to know these two (and Alyson's mom) and I can't wait to meet the little princess once she arrives.

Harper's turns 1: Nashville Baby Photograher



Every time Harper comes to see me I get this:



BUT guess what?!? Today...well, today she loved me. I mean really loved me. I even picked her up and she smiled at me. I tickled her and she laughed at me. I finally earned the Harper seal of approval. SUCCESS!! This was how she felt about me today:

And then we gave her cake...and she wasn't a fan. However, I did get one sweet shot of her not running away from it.  ;)

Happy Birthday sweet Harper!! I'm going to miss seeing all of your funny expressions so often. I have so enjoyed getting to know you and your awesome parents.



Cassidy is TWO: Nashville Child Photographer

 Cassidy is beyond adorable. Just when I thought it was not possible to be any cuter, she shows up in the cutest little glasses I have ever seen. Are you kidding me?!? She is talking so much and already so grown up. Mom came prepared with M&M's to bribe her at the end, but they were hardly needed at all. Just love her session!

Tara, Will, & Mac: Nashville Engagement Photographer

Tara and Will met a few months ago and knew immediately that they were perfect for each other. Their wedding is next month--because when it's right--why waste any time starting the rest of your lives together? We had a beautiful day for their engagement session and they brought along Will's son Mac for some shots as well.

What is one word people would use to describe you as a couple?

relaxed, fast

What are your favorite "together" activities?

Hanging out. We have a lot of shared outdoor activities that we're excited to get to do together now that it's spring.

Will, what do you love about Tara?

Her smile and her laugh. As soon as I took the next shot he grins, points at her and says, "That one." 

Tara, what makes Will sexy to you?

I love his hands. I love the way they feel against mine, the way they are working hands.

Where was your first date? What did you do?

Our first family date was to the zoo...[at one point] I looked over at will and had that ridiculous weak at the knees feeling because I was suddenly overwhelmed with how much I loved him.

 

 Mac brought his friends Scooby and Shaggy long for their session. He picked out the next area and loved the colors. We had to get a couple with his toys of course!

How would you describe your style?

Versatile. I think we're both most comfortable casual and relaxed, but with little effort at all we're able to be dressed up and on point.

Caroline, 6 months: Nashville Baby Photographer

Love, love, love this baby!! Caroline was in the sweetest mood this morning and I am so happy I got to snuggle on her. I had the most difficult time picking favorites (probably because she is family and every shot melts me). I could kiss on her all day long!

Kristy: Nashville Maternity Photographer

Kristy is 36 weeks pregnant with her first baby--a girl! She informed me that her labor will last exactly 15 minutes, there will be no pain, and her daughter will weigh 5 pounds. Sounds fantastic to me! Ha ha. We had a very relaxed session and got to take advantage of this gorgeous weather. The bump looks fabulous on Kristy and I only hope her delivery is as easy as she predicts.  :)

Ava, 10 days: Nashville Newborn Photographer

Ava's parents warned me that she was already a drama queen...and they were right. Ha ha. This tiny little lady does not like being naked and needs her pacifier. Luckily, I am the master of coaxing naked babies and quick with the paci sneak attack! Ava breezed through her shoot and didn't even have an accident on anything. Success!

It was wonderful meeting you Josh and Jessica. Miss Ava is pure perfection!
