John and Samantha have been together since they were sophomores in high school. They have literally grown up together and are about the sweetest couple I have ever met! A few days before their wedding, they got a call that the original space where they were supposed to get married didn't have A/C due to being struck by lightening. They had to scramble to try and make their vision come to life and they did an amazing job. Here is a preview of their beautiful day!
John & Sam chose to do a first look before the ceremony. They were both a little nervous, but once they saw each other that melted away and the wedding bliss set in...
John's groomsmen were guarding the area where he & Sam were seeing each other for the first time (so no one would come in). They were told not to watch and I love this image of John & Sam seeing them!
This wedding party rocked. They were troopers. It was SO HOT outside, ya'll. They walked all around and had the best time even though we were all melting.
Now it was time to get these two married!
I could have photographed these two right here for hours....but we did these all in about 15 minutes and then time for the party! ;)
The bride's grandparents chopped trees from their own yard to make these centerpieces.
So special!
After having all the married couples join the bride and groom on the dance floor, there was a little game to see who had married the longest. There were several couples that were over 30 years, but these two topped them all at 56 years of marriage. So inspiring!
The guests knew how to get down. The dance floor was full all night. And these two kiddos probably slept very well last night...
Sam & John, I just adore you both! Your wedding was so much fun and I hope you love your preview. Thank you for letting me be a part of your day. I can't wait for you to see ALL of your images!
xoxo
