Baby Page, A birth Story: Nashville Birth Photographer {Middle TN Birth Photographer}

I met Melissa and Chris at the hospital the morning to welcome another sweet baby into their family.
We thought Ellie's birth would be the last, but this little nugget surprised everyone. They decided not to find out the sex of this little one and it's been driving everyone in their family crazy not knowing.  With 3 big sisters (and two angel brothers), the majority has been guessing boy.

We met at the hospital in the wee hours of the morning...

Melissa has been convinced this baby was a boy. She said that's the heart rate of a boy. Her pregnancy has been so different than the others. Chris swore he saw male parts on an ultrasound...

No band aids this time, but Melissa still had to endure shots throughout her entire pregnancy to make sure this little one was safe.

Chris said a prayer for a safe surgery and delivery for mom and baby. It was time to meet who was in that bump!

Dr. Birch announced that it's a....

GIRL!!!

Everyone was completely shocked, but thrilled! After recovery, it was time to tell the rest of the family.

Since today is "the king's" birthday, Melissa & Chris thought it would be funny to have the gender announced via Elvis cupcakes. (Those macaroons were covered so it didn't give anything away).

They first thing big sisters asked when they came in was, "Is it a boy?!?"

They couldn't believe it was a girl either! (Funny side note: a nurse got confused and told one of the grandmothers it was a boy before they were let back, so they were REALLY surprised to find out otherwise).

And even Elvis made an appearance to celebrate this new baby girl.

Ellie was soooo excited about her new baby sister and asked if they could bring her home. It was adorable.

Lots of love and emotions in this room.

This baby girl doesn't have a name just yet, but man is she one loved little lady.

Happy Birthday baby girl Page. You are in for a ride!!

Love you Page family.
Thank you for letting me be a part of this beautiful journey.
