Harper, 12 days: Nashville Newborn Photographer

Little (ok, not so little...9lbs.) Harper has arrived! She may be the record holder for most alert newborn ever. It was crazy how much she was looking around and lifting her head while on her tummy. I told her mom that I have had 3 month olds come in that can't lift their head that well. Harper did not go to sleep at all during her session--not one shot with those eyes closed. Of course, we still got super cute images.

Big sister Avery did NOT want to take a picture with Harper. You have no idea how hard we had to work to get her to lay next to the baby.  ;)

Cyra & Zaya: Nashville Photographer

I met Deena during a casting call she answered a few months ago when Zaya was first born, and I was super excited when she booked a session for her whole family. I had the most difficult time choosing which photos to post for their shoot. There are literally so many gorgeous ones and these barely skim the surface. I already knew Deena and Zaya were stunning, but Cyra and Joseph were just as great at modeling.  ;)

Owen, 1 year: Nashville Baby Photographer

Oh, baby Owen spent part of his very first birthday with me this morning. He got his 1st haircut yesterday and mom told me she cried...twice. I know he was also having a birthday party today, so it has been an exciting day! I loved the way he was crinkling his nose at me and he looks so grown up with his new do.

April and Evan--thank you for letting me document Owen's first year. I miss seeing you guys already!

Shae: Nashville Maternity Photographer

Shae is due with a baby girl in a couple of weeks and she completely rocked out her maternity shoot this morning. She knows that she is sexy and wasn't afraid to pull out all the stops for her photos. I think every woman hopes to look as good as she does when they are so close to delivery. We had so much fun and her energy was contagious.

Anne: Nashville Headshot Photographer

I've been shooting Anne's little girls since their oldest was tiny, but I was excited to work with only Anne today. She recently started freelance writing for several places including Nashville Parent Magazine and needed some headshots. She told me she hasn't had any pictures done of her by herself since her senior photos in high school. I'm so glad we fixed that today! Isn't she gorgeous?

Lillian & Isaac, 7 months: Nashville Twin Photographer

Lillian and Isaac are almost 8 months old are were superstars today! I can't believe I actually got a family shot where everyone was smiling. Thanks goodness mom gave me the toy chicken that they love--ha ha. I couldn't believe how big these two have gotten in a few short months and they are so easy going. We had a great session!

Benjamin, 11 months: Nashville Baby Photographer

Jamie and Jonathan brought Benjamin in today and it had been way too long. I haven't photographed this sweet baby since he was 3 months old and he will turn 1 next month. He is so close to walking, but thankfully didn't give me too much trouble trying to get away. Those blue eyes got me again and even though he wasn't too fond of that hat, I think it's my favorite.  :)

Kansas May, 18 months: Murfreesboro, TN Photographer

The ever-adorable Kansas May is 18 months old and we decided to go to her dance studio to grab a few shots in her tutu. Really?!? She was having so much fun playing that it didn't bother her at all this time that I was snapping away. We also let her run around outside--which she loved--and then ended the session with her playing rock star in front of her Daddy's equipment (love the attitude in that shot).

Loved hanging out with you guys this morning, Cindy! Hope K-May is getting a great nap.  :)

Abby, 8 days: Nashville Newborn Photographer

Abby is our first newborn girl of the new year! She came in and was sound asleep, so we started off with Mom and Dad's request of the tea cup. I don't think a baby has ever been so easy for that shot--Abby didn't even stir! She was so cute with her chubby cheeks. We did eventually make her very mad trying to get the baseball image. It was worth it, I think.  :)
