Lexie, 3 months: Nashville Baby Photographer

Miss Lexie (and her hair) brought along the entire gang today! We got to do the first family shots since the Cokinos clan became the party of four. I just love these sweet sisters and how they look like complete opposites. We managed to get 2 littles ones under two to look at me more than once, so I think it was a success!!  :)



Patrick, 3 months: Nashville Baby Photographer

We began Patrick's session with some family shots and he was very unsure of what was going on. I am not posting those because they are going to be used for Christmas cards, but we got a couple that were winners (promise Meghan)!   ;)

After we got Patrick all by himself, he was nothing but smiles. BIG, melt your heart smiles. This guy is giving his big sister a run for her money in the cute department. Ha ha ha.

Sadie Rose, 3 months: Nashville Baby Photographer

Sadie showed up asleep for her session...and was pretty upset that we woke her up to take photos. This is how we started out:

Poor girl never really got over it. However, we did manage to snap a few sweet shots before she had a complete meltdown at the end.

She loves her Mama.

Brooks, 1 year: Nashville Baby Photographer

It is very rare to have a baby complete the first year package and be in a fantastic mood for all 5 sessions. Brooks' record is going to be the one to beat! He was as easy as ever today and only had a meltdown when Mom and Dad stuck him in the sink after his cake smash. I have loved getting to watch him grow over the past year. Happy Birthday, sweet boy!

The Murphree Family: Nashville Photographer

Mr. and Mrs. Burnham: Murfreesboro, TN Wedding Photographer {The Walnut House}

I have known Brian for many, many years. I shot his sister's wedding earlier this year and got to meet his then girlfriend Elizabeth. She sang at that ceremony and had an absolutely beautiful voice (really, crazy good).  Brian has been on a quest for the one  for quite some time...and it was pretty apparent at that wedding that he had found her.

One month later, I got a text from Brian saying he was proposing to Elizabeth. I was so thrilled for him! 

As the planning started taking place, I realized I was in for a treat. Brian and Elizabeth decided to go with a theme wedding. What was the theme, you ask??

The Rock of Love Tour...

The bride's dress was custom made and she and her mother made her rhinestone sash and earrings. The invitations were designed to look like a concert poster. The RSVP cards were ticket stubs. They had backstage laminates to guide you to your table at dinner. The tables were labeled by different band names. The bridesmaids had guitar pick necklaces. All of the details were so fun!!

The rockin' wedding party.

Brian and Elizabeth's ceremony was one of a kind. Their officiant led a sing-a-long of love songs chosen by the guests. They sang All You Need is Love, Love Me Tender, Love Will Keep Us Together, and I Knew I Loved You Before I Met You...just to name a few. It was pretty spectacular.

One way to solve who does their vows first?

Rock, Paper, Scissors--of course!

They are married!!

Everett, 3 months: Nashville Baby Photographer

I always tell parents that the 3 month session is usually the most challenging. Everett set out to prove me wrong today. He was seriously the happiest baby. This shoot goes down in my easy book and I will expect nothing less in the future from him. Adorable!!
