The Strange Family

I shot Aiden and Jordan several months ago for the first time. Today, they were back with the whole family to get some photos for their Christmas cards. Jordan still wasn't too sure of me, but she was WAY more at ease than last time. I actually got smiles from her and Aiden was as sweet as always--probably because I told him I has a surprise for him at the end of the session. Ha ha,   ;)

Here's their preview...

Carter, 9 months: Murfreesboro Baby Photographer

I met Carter and his parents in Murfreesboro for his 9 month session and he was in a terrific mood! We walked around the square and this little guy was tossing out the smiles left and right. Mom and Dad said they weren't going to be in any shots, but I made them..and thank goodness they gave in! How adorable are those family shots.

Enjoy!

Kate, 10 days: Nashville Newborn Photographer

Easiest. Newborn. Shoot. Ever.

Kate is 10 days of pure perfection. She slept through her entire session and didn't so much as make a peep (or poop). She is the first girl born on her father's side of the family in 9 generations! Her parents chose not to find out until delivery, so everyone was super surprised.  I am absolutely in LOVE with all of the personal items her parents brought in and the significance of each is so special...

Kate's great-grandfather made this bed out of the wood from the attic of their house built in 1860.

The bracelet in this image is Kate's great-grandmother's.

The bowl she is laying in below was Kate's great-great-grandmother's and the baby blanket she is wrapped in was her mom's baby blanket...that she still sleeps with.   ;)

The brooch on this headband was given to Kate' great-great-grandmother by her father shortly before he died when she was 12 years old. It happens to be Kate's birthstone.

Congratulations again Natalie and Ross!!!

Adéle, 6 months: Nashville Baby Photographer

Adéle has pretty much melted me since the first time I saw her. This was her 3rd session with me and she has always been the happiest baby every time she comes in. I was super excited when I found out that her adoption will be final on December 7! Sydney and Doug are so wonderful with Adéle and I can see how much they all adore each other. We joked today that you can tell that poor baby is so deprived of love and attention...  ;)

Oh, and we can't forget that Aegis came along for some family shots. He and Adéle are BFF's.

So happy for you guys and I hope you love your sneak peak.

Zoe is turning one! Nashville Baby Photographer

It really just doesn't get much easier than Zoe. She was in a super terrific mood this afternoon and we were done in record time! She is almost a year old and as sweet as ever. She has the BEST grin and her personality is just as precious as she is. I had so much fun watching her dig into her cake...hilarious!

So good to see you again Leslie and Mark!!

Kaylee, 3 months: Nashville Newborn Photographer

Sweet Kaylee was back for her 2nd shoot with me today and has grown SO much since her newborn session. She is a roly poly and I think she is soooo cute! For a baby that apparently hates getting her clothes changes, she did great. She has the longest eyelashes and those dark eyes are to die for.

Here's her preview.  :)

Elise, 5 days: Nashville Newborn Photographer

Elise is 5 days new and is super tiny (currently under 6 lb.). She was just perfect for her session today! The first shot we did was the teacup and she didn't even stir when I put her in there. Do you know how rare that is?!? I was also told that Mom was not very photogenic...which of course, turned out to be completely untrue.  ;)

I'm super excited to watch this little one grow over the next year. I had a wonderful time meeting her family!

Lucas: Nashville Child Photographer

I met Lucas back in August, and I guess that he loved me so much that mom and dad had to schedule another session.  ;)  He will be turning 2 soon, plus they needed some Christmas card photos...so I was thrilled to see them again this morning. Lucas is so much fun and I had a great time trying to get his attention. Ha ha.

Here's a few favorites...

Tensley: Nashville Newborn Photographer

After photographing their sweet boys before, I was super excited to meet this family's latest addition--a baby girl! Tensley was born 2 weeks early, but still weighed almost 9 pounds. She is ridiculously precious. She also made us work long and hard for these images and I know mom was worried we didn't get anything...even though I told her not to be. You'd never know Miss Tensley wasn't a fan of her shoot today.  ;)

Loved seeing you Chrissy!

Ella, 12 days: Nashville Newborn Photographer

I got to meet brand new Ella and her family this morning. She slept like a charm through the first half of her session, but then she wanted to know what was going on and gave us some great shots of those beautiful eyes. I just loved the polka dot bucket with her initial that mom brought in--so cute!

I look forward to seeing you again in February Andrea & Chris. Great meeting you!
