BIG news!!

As some of you know, after we had storm damage at the studio a few weeks ago Krista and I started thinking about moving to a new location. She contacted a friend of hers who just leased an awesome (and huge) new space that was being shared by a few of our fellow Nashville photographers. I was originally going to join this new team with her, but after a lot of thinking, stressing, and not sleeping decided it was not the best thing for me to do.

So...I am going to take over the lease at our current place starting May 15! I am going to miss sharing space with Krista (after all, I wouldn't be where I am without her taking me under her wing all those years ago) but I am also very excited to take this huge step with my business. I have so many ideas for the studio and I can't wait to get started on this new adventure.

I over use the word "amazing,"  but I just can't think of any better word to describe my clients. You all are the reason I get to do what I love every day. You make this possible for me by sharing my name with friends and family and I am grateful beyond words. Thank you so much for continuing to come back time and time again. Thank you for trusting me to photograph your babies, your love, and your lives.

Lillian & Isaac, 11 months: Nashville Twin Baby Photographer

When Lilly and Isaac came in today I seriously could not believe how big they were. They don't look like babies anymore!! They were both so good and thank goodness there were several of us making fools of ourselves trying to get their attention at the same time. I wish I had a video--it was hilarious!

Abby, 3 months: Nashville Baby Photographer

Miss Abby has more than doubled her size since her newborn session. At 3 months, she is already 18 pounds and I'm in love with her chunkiness. She is so cute!! However, she was not in the mood for photos. She was so tired and ended up crashing at the end, but we got some sweet sleepy baby shots.

Happy Birthday Lyra Claire: Nashville Baby Photographer

I can not stand that Lyra is ONE. However, I did love the fact that she let me hold her today and even smiled at me without reaching for her mom. Totally made my day!! Mom brought the cutest props from Lyra's birthday party and I am about to die over that booty shot. ♥♥♥

The Caufields: Nashville Family Photographer

Oh, Monday...

We got off to a late start at the studio, but luckily everyone was SO accommodating about being pushed back a bit. THANK YOU to my wonderful clients for being so flexible. 

The Caufields are moving in just a few days to Seattle and luckily were able to come in for one last session. The kiddos were on their best behavior and did great for the entire shoot. That family photo was one of the first shots and everyone was so happy in it. I sure am going to miss seeing this sweet clan.

Holden, 9 days: Nashville Baby Photographer

 Holden was the perfect model this afternoon, and I have no laundry to do after his session. A rarity!! This precious baby boy could not have been any easier. We even got big brother Bryce smiling in several shots (even though I was warned he is not a fan of having his picture made).  I love the cradle, sunglasses, and bunny ears that Mom brought in. Adorable!

Peyton, 3 months: Nashville Baby Photographer

Peyton is still a tiny little guy at 3 months old. We had a rough start with his shoot after waking him from a nap, but after a quick feeding break he was good to go. Check out those beautiful blue eyes!! He is just as cute as big brother Alex...who stole all of my candy. Ha ha ha.

 Miss Bailey had shoot #4 with me today and was her usual happy self. She and Brody are always camera hams and make my job super easy! Of course, we had to throw in some family shots and a couple of Brody by himself as well. This is one great looking family!

Scarlett Elyse, 6 days: Nashville Baby Photographer

When Brooke and Wes came in for their maternity session, they did not know whether they were having a boy or a girl. Brooke predicted a baby girl--and she was right! Scarlett is 6 days of sweet, pure perfection. This goes down as one of the easiest newborn shoots in history. The only sounds of protest were when we were trying out my new basket (see below), but after a few minutes we were fine.  Isn't she just beautiful?
