When Mattie Grace came in today I went crazy over her blond "duck" hair. It sticks up everywhere and is so stinking cute. This girl is so very close to crawling and I know the next time I see her she will be trying to get away from me!

Zoe, 5 years: Nashville Photographer {Make a Wish Foundation}
One of my wonderful clients, Anne, is a wish granter with the Make a Wish Foundation and recently contacted me about one of the little girls she has been working with. Miss Zoe has been battling leukemia since last fall and her wish is to to go to Disney World (and I'm happy to say she will get to soon). Anne thought it would also be nice for her family to have a photo shoot and today Zoe got to show off her modeling skills.
I have to tell you guys that Zoe is a typical free-spirited 5 year-old! She was so sassy at her shoot today and I could see why anyone that meets her is instantly doting on her. She has such a precious personality and is a cutie to boot. I loved getting to spend some time with her and her family!! What an honor to be able to document so much love.
Zoe--thank you SO much for my card. I loved meeting you and trying to make you giggle today. :)

Jada's Butterflies
I had the honor of meeting Jada the other day when I was contacted to do photos for her "Austism Speaks" walk. This beautiful girl loves butterflies, so that is the name her family gave the team that will be walking in her honor on September 8 (Jada's Butterflies).
Her family is trying to raise $1500 to help raise awareness, so if you feel so inclined you can donate to their team here.
Here are a few of my favorites of this gorgeous gal.

Tolen, 7 days: Nashville Newborn Photographer {Middle TN Newborn Photographer}
I love photographing newborns, but today I loved it even more because it was my sweet friends Abby & Luke's baby boy! Even though they didn't find out what they were having, Abby's intuition told her it was a boy. Tolen was absolutely the perfect model today and I fell in love with his big chubby cheeks.
It was SO good to see you, Luke & Abby. Thank you for letting me cuddle up with your little man. Hopefully, we can all get together soon!

Emma, 6 months: Nashville Baby Photographer
Emma is seriously one of the happiest babies I have ever seen. She came in today full of big, heart-melting smiles and they continued for most of her session. She even fell over and smacked her head, but 30 seconds later she was grinning again. Love it!
Jonah, 3 months: Nashville Baby Photographer
Jonah is a man of serious business. We could not crack a single smile out of him today (even though I came so very close at the end of his session). The good news is, his other faces were just as cute and funny as the ones his big sister used to give me! ;)
Piper, 3 months: Nashville Baby Photographer
Piper did SO great for her 3 month session this morning! She was such a happy little one and I even got to document her rolling over for the first time. Loved seeing this chubby beauty, her Mommy, and her grandmother. Enjoy!

Kennedy, 1 year: Nashville Baby Photographer
I'm not sure how it happened, but Kennedy is one.
A whole year.
I have love, love, loved the fact that mom kept her word and has come back to visit for these last 3 sessions. I adore this little lady and even though she was on the go today, we got those precious expressions of hers when she wasn't too busy for us.
Happy Birthday beautiful girl!!!
Sloane & Avery, 9 months: Nashville Baby Photographer
Avery and Sloane started their session off like pros! They were giving me grins left and right...and then they realized they wanted to crawl around. That was way more fun than watching me be an idiot. Ha ha ha. They really did so great!!
(p.s You guys left a monkey...)
Adyson, 1 year: Nashville Baby Photographer
Adyson celebrated her first birthday yesterday! This gal has gotten so big and had some great expressions for me today. My favorite shot of the day came from Adyson playing with her big brother--priceless!
It was great to see you, Gina. :)
