Paisley: Nashville Baby Photographer

Paisley was our second birthday girl of the day and she just celebrated her first birthday! Mom was worried because she hadn't had a nap, but I think this proved to be Paisley's best session yet! She only had one tiny breakdown, but that was good because it wouldn't be a Paisley shoot if I didn't get at least one shot of her sweet little pouty face. She devoured her cupcakes and got mad when it was gone...soooo cute!

Happy Birthday Paisley. I have loved watching you grow over the past year!

Emma is TWO: Nashville Child Photographer

I can hardly stand that Miss Emma is already 2 years old! I have been shooting her since she was itty-bitty and I love seeing her and her family every time they come in. I am also SUPER excited that Emma is going to be a big sister and I cannot wait to meet her little brother or sister. It's just another excuse for me to see this family every few months. Yay!  :)

Happy Birthday sweet Emma. I had so much fun playing with you today and I hope to see you soon!

The Howards: Destination Photographer, Tybee Island

I spent the past 6 days on vacation with my hubby, kiddos, sister and her clan. My sister lives about 7 hours away from me and we had never actually taken our families on a "vacation" together. She is also a photographer, so when we planned our trip to Tybee Island, we knew we wanted to exchange shoots. We had been discussing ideas and props for awhile, but once we got ready and went to actually take pictures--we were both disappointed with the crazy strong winds that pretty much knocked out any ideas we wanted to do.

Between the wacko wind storms, kids that didn't listen, lights not working, lenses fogging, etc...I don't think either of us got what we "wanted." However, I have to say that I love the pictures of my sis and her family just having fun and acting silly. She may kill me for some of these shots, but I don't care. She is just gorgeous, my nephews are complete hams, and her hubby even really, genuinely smiled (which he never does for photos).

I love you, Candy, Jason, Jack, and Sam. We had the best time with you guys! However, I am happy to be sleeping in my own bed tonight.  ;)

Amanda: Nashville Maternity Pinup Photographer

*I am officially on vacation until Monday, August 9. No blogs until then! If you contact me to set up an appointment, I will get back to you then.*

:)

When Amanda got in touch with me to schedule her maternity session I was super excited because she also wanted it to be pinup style. I had so many ideas for her shoot and couldn't wait to let my creative juices flow. While she was getting her hair and makeup done by our awesome stylist Kelly (who ROCKED as usual), she and her hubby kept saying they wish they had brought their dog. So, I sent him home to get the dog and some baby clothes while I ran to Walgreens to get some clothespins and a clothesline. I love the way her shoot turned out and I think she may just be the sexiest pregnant woman ever (and by her hubby's reaction during the session, I think he would agree)!

It was great meeting you Amanda and Matt. Hope you love them--good luck with your delivery!

Lucas: Nashville Baby Photographer

Little Lucas came in today for his first shoot with me and was ready to play! This sweet guy is 18 months old and full of energy. He is so tall and looks so much older than he is--his mom said that people try to talk to him all the time thinking he is much older. It's crazy! We all had a great time laughing and chasing him around.

Hope you enjoy your sneak peek Bonnie and Brad!

Heather & Mark: Nashville Wedding Photographer

When it started pouring rain yesterday afternoon, I was a little worried that Mark and Heather's outdoor wedding was going to have to be moved to the backup location. However, the sun came out just before I arrived to begin photographing their day! These two were just the cutest thing ever. They were so mellow and the day was so relaxed and laid back.  They didn't have a wedding party, so they had more time for photos of just the two of them. I love some of the images we ended up with.

How awesome are their shoes? Lego cuff links? Tattoo wedding bands? And that first shot is of Heather's dress next to her Mom's. It fits Heather perfectly and we took a couple of photos of her wearing it.

The shot below on the left is the first wedding Heather was in....next to a shot of her own. :)

Can you tell it was H-O-T? I love this!

Heather not only got a new hubby, but an uber-cute new stepson. Lucas is adorable!

Murfreesboro Gothic?

Mark couldn't stop staring at Heather and smooching her on the forehead. It was so sweet.
Congratulations you two! I hope you LOVE your preview. Thank you so much  for letting me be a part of your day!
