Sled babies...

Ian was so bummed when it snowed yesterday and he couldn't go out because he had been sick over the weekend. Luckily, this morning he woke up feeling great and we got to go play! We had sooo much fun sledding and this is the first time Averie got to do some tiny hills by herself. She was loving it!

Have I mentioned how much I love snow days with my babies?!? Just wish my hubby could have skipped work to play with us too.  ;)

Lyra, 9 months: Nashville Baby Photographer

After finishing the session from the previous post, I walked across the street to Miss Lyra's house. This was my 5th session with this awesome family. Lyra is in a "I want my Mommy to hold me and if she puts me down I will lose it" phase. So funny. We had been planning to do a shoot in their house for quite some time now because of Lyra's adorable room. It was the perfect backdrop for most of the session.

Loved see you guys-- told you that you'd never know how hard we had to work for these.  ;)

And I couldn't resist posting these faces. No wonder she hated us. Ha ha ha.

Cooper, 7 months: Clarksville Baby Photographer

Yesterday morning I took a pretty drive through the snow to Clarksville for a couple of shoots. The first  was at Cooper's house--I was loving that they lived in an area surrounded by woods.  We started outside and Cooper was way more interested in the snow and wouldn't even look at me. Who can blame him? Then we warmed up inside for a bit, but he was super sleepy and ended up asleep before I left. We wore that poor baby out.

Thanks for having me Tara and Alan!

Maddux, 9 months: Nashville Baby Photographer

This kid melts me every.single.time. Maddux is one of the sweetest babies ever and he is also gorgeous. I always LOVE his outfits and that first onesie may be my most favorite yet. How cute is the tie and suspenders?!? Ugh--I can't take the cuteness!

Greer, 9 months: Nashville Baby Photographer

Greer's mom wanted to get a head start on his 1st birthday invitations and brought hay bails, banners, and a couple of adorable outfits to go with their theme. We made a huge mess with the hay, but I'd say it was well worth it. However, I think my favorites from this shoot are the outtakes of Greer and big brother Davis...ha ha ha.

Brooks, 3 months: Nashville Baby Photographer

Brooks has turned into such a happy little thing and had a great session this morning. He was just as easy for his newborn session, so I expected nothing less. He discovered he has a tongue and was proudly displaying it in several of my favorites from this shoot. I also love that first family photo--how dad is staring adoringly at mom, mom is glowing while looking at Brooks, and baby is as happy as can be with his parents. ♥

Sydney, 3 months: Nashville Baby Photographer

Oh, precious Sydney was back for her 3 month session today and she is already a princess. Mom came very well prepared with a plethora of headbands and outfits for this fashionista. How I love girly accessories!! We all made fools of ourselves trying to get this girl to smile, but I think she was in a thoughtful mood.  ;)

Great seeing you Chip and Nicole!

 Then she was done...

Kami's belly: Nashville Maternity Photographer

Today was my first day back at the studio after the holidays and I was excited to get back into the grind with some awesome clients. I just love the Trombley family and I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of their newest addition. He will be here in just a few more weeks and I know Kami, Joe, and big sister Emma can't wait!

It's always wonderful to see you guys. Next time there will be four of you!!  :)

*Thanks to the always amazing Kelly Henderson for Kami's hair and makeup.

It's just not fair for Kami to look this good at 36 weeks...

Happy, Happy New Year!

Thank you all for letting me into your lives--2010 was was a great year for BKP. Many of you come back time and time again, and I love getting to know you and becoming friends with you. You all make it possible for me to do what I love. I hope to keep growing as a photographer and giving you images you truly cherish (sounds cheesy, but oh so true).

This year will bring some changes. I am so very lucky to be so busy. However, with the crazy growth that is happening I am booking months in advance. I hate having to turn people away, so please book as early as possible.  (This goes for newborns as well. Book while you are still pregnant! I am only taking so many shoots per month)

I have prided myself on keeping my prices competitive since I know a lot of you pinch pennies for your shoots. Unfortunately, my studio rent did go up a couple of months ago and that means I have raised my pricing slightly to reflect this increase. If you are already on Baby's First Year, this will not apply to you. All new packages are on the website.

I have FINALLY created a Facebook Fanpage! If we reach 500 fans by Friday, I will have the first giveaway for the year. Go "like" the page and tell all your friends.
(BKP Facebook Fanpage)

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season and I look forward to seeing your smiling faces soon!!
