Ellie, 7 days: Nashville Newborn Photographer

Ellie astounded me with her alertness and mild demeanor today. She was wide awake for most of her session, but she didn't mind that I was putting her into all kinds of crazy positions. What an absolute dream! Her big sister Tyler was drowning her with kisses and we only had to bribe her with two suckers to get some photos together. Ha ha ha.

Feel free to swoon over these...I warned you!  :)

Love that precious yawn.

Yes--Mom is back into her regular clothes a week after giving birth. Go ahead and hate her...  ;)

Presley-Kate, 1 year old: Nashville Baby Photographer

It's hard to believe that Miss Presley-Kate just celebrated her first birthday. I have loved watching her grow over the past year so much! She was ALL over the place at the studio today and I know she gave her Mommy quite the workout. She was also very into her birthday cake and dove right in. It was so funny!

I'd say I'm going to miss this munchkin, but she is going to have a little sister soon and I am SO happy I will get to keep seeing her so often. I can't wait!!  :)

Elise, 6 months: Nashville Baby Photographer

Elise was in a fantastic mood this afternoon and we had such an easy session. She was showing off how well she can sit up and giving the sweetest grins ever! It was such a gorgeous day that we had to do a few outside with the fluffy white clouds. Couldn't you just eat her up??

Holly: Nashville Headshot Photographer

Holly took advantage of our quick headshot session this afternoon. She is a personal fitness trainer and recently lost 60 pounds! She was just gorgeous and so much fun to work with. (Did I mention she has a one year old??  Bravo, my dear.)

Its was great to meet you, Holly. I hope you love the preview!  :)

**Thanks to the one of the best stylists around Sylvia Fox for hair and makeup.

Makaiya, 13 months: Nashville Baby Photographer

This is Makaiya's blog debut! She just turned a year old and was showing off her dancing skills today. She was getting down and her mom, grandmother, aunt, and I were all putty in her little hands. She was a riot! She tolerated all of her wardrobe changes like a pro and was walking over to the backdrops as soon as she was dressed. This little one knows she is a star.  :)

Harper, 9 months: Nashville Baby Photographer

The always adorable Harper had her 9 month session with me this morning and I was warned it was naptime. She made it a point to prove her family wrong and was in the sweetest mood. She always has the best little accessories and today was no exception. I was also excited that the rain stopped long enough for us to finally get some family shots outside!

A sneak peek...

Marshall, 3 months: Nashville Baby Photographer

The cute meter at the studio was overloaded today when Marshall arrived for his first session with me. I went nuts over his crazy hair! Can you take this cuteness?? He did so great and was talking and cooing to me throughout the entire shoot. I look forward to photographing the rest of his first year and watching him grow.  :)

Nicole & Mike: Nashville/Smyrna Maternity Photographer

If you've had a shoot with me over the past few weeks, you have probably met my "intern" Nicole. She has been living with her husband in Switzerland for the past couple of years and decided to come back home to have her first baby. This shoot was crazy from beginning to end. Her husband, Mike, still lives overseas and was only going to be here for a couple of days before the end of her pregnancy. He came straight from the airport on Friday after a long (and delayed) flight from Germany to do this session! He was such a great sport about the whole thing.

We had to trudge through an overgrown field full of who knows what for these (but of course it was worth it, right Mike?). Ha ha.

Isn't she just gorgeous??? It's kind of ridiculous.

It must be hard to be so unfortunate looking...  ;)

Nicole got crafty and made her own tutu...

And she also made this t-shirt. Fan-freaking-tastic!!

We knew we wanted to do some shots in a laundromat, but ended up driving around forever trying to find an open one. We came up frustrated and empty handed Friday, but decided to do a quick 15 minute set this morning before Mike's flight leaves later today. So, SO cute.

♥♥♥

I can't wait to see if these two are having a boy or a girl (and hopefully Mike will be here)! Stay tuned and we'll know in a couple more months. :)

Tara & Will: Murfreesboro Wedding Photographer (Cheval Manor)

After a week of terrible storms, the clouds parted and the perfect weather arrived just in time for Will and Tara's wedding. It was an absolutely gorgeous day and these two were blissfully happy. The ceremony very intimate and relaxed--it was also a "bring your own chair" event! The kids had blankets and laid in the grass while Tara and Will exchanged vows. So fun!

Here are a few favorites from their wedding day:

Their first look--love Tara's face in this image. It was such a sweet moment.

These two were laughing all day! They are obviously so comfortable and relaxed with each other...

LOVED these old gas station signs.

Will's son Mac kisses his new stepmom. One of my absolute favorites from the whole day.
 ♥

Here comes the bride.

All of the guests!

Will proposed to Tara with a giant cookie, so it was only appropriate to incorporate that theme into their wedding day.  :)

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Chambers!!!!!
